WEST LEBANON, N.H. – Aug. 10, 2026 – Pro-Cut™ recently participated in the 2026 National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) Train-the-Trainer 67 event held in Wichita, Kansas. Pro-Cut’s innovative X15 on-car brake lathe played a key role in instructor certification and hands-on technical training.
“Pro-Cut is proud to continue its partnership with NC3 to help prepare the next generation of automotive technicians,” said Geoff Womer, sales manager, HD for Pro-Cut. “Updating the curriculum to include the X15 and X19 brake lathes ensures students and instructors are training with the same advanced equipment found in today’s professional repair facilities. Together with NC3, we are committed to helping provide technical education and training that aligns with the evolving needs of the automotive industry.”
The annual NC3 Train-the-Trainer event brings together educators and industry professionals from across the country for an immersive professional-development experience focused on implementing NC3 industry-recognized certifications. Throughout the week, participants receive hands-on technical instruction from NC3 master instructors, collaborate with peers and gain practical experience using the latest industry technologies before bringing enhanced curriculum back to their classrooms.
As part of the updated brake service certification program, Pro-Cut’s X15 brake lathe was used extensively during the hands-on training sessions, providing instructors with real-world experience using advanced on-car brake lathe technology.
Representing Pro-Cut at the event was Womer, who served as the subject matter expert (SME) for the brake lathe curriculum. Working alongside NC3 curriculum developers and instructors, Womer helped finalize updates to the training materials, which now include both the Pro-Cut X15 and X19 brake lathes.
