Reports to: Electronics Engineering Manager

Key Tasks:

• Design specialized microprocessor/microcontroller based embedded systems
• Design analog/digital signal processing embedded systems 
• Design power supply and power control systems (AC/DC motors, stepper motors, frequency converters)
• Prepare thorough and accurate documentation for release to manufacturing and internal product design records
• Test and validate PCBA to assure product performance and quality

Development can be multi-location team oriented, depending on projects
 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics or relevant technical field
• 4-5 years experience in electronic PCBA design
• Electronic CAD proficiency – schematics and layout (Orcad/Altium)
• Familiar with simulation tools
• Familiar with electronics lab and measuring tools
• Familiar with electrical/EMC regulations – CE/UL/CSA
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Customer focused
• Fluency in English both written and spoken
• Able to work with other members of the team
• Willing to travel and to spend short periods abroad
