SUCCESS STORIES

Design Engineer

Nearly a decade ago, when I first joined the Snap-on team, I couldn't have imagined the incredible journey that lay ahead. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in Brazil, Italy, Sweden, and collaborating with remarkable individuals from diverse corners of the world, enriching both my personal and professional life. Now in the United States, I'm determined to keep pushing the boundaries and continue working, learning, and being a driving force for change, because at Snap-on, we don't just witness change; we actively shape it.

LINE LEAD

I’ve worked for Snap-on for 11 years and am currently the lead for the ADAS assembly line. I ensure the assembly of our products goes smoothly, but I also complete final inspections to provide quality products to our customers. My favorite part about working for Snap-on is the family-type atmosphere where we celebrate our accomplishments.

My team takes pride in the equipment we build every day, knowing that our equipment is used worldwide on vehicles to correct a sensor or camera that keeps someone safe. Producing new products for the John Bean brand keeps me excited for the future.

Marketing Communications Supervisor

It feels good to be part of an industry that helps keep the world moving. The brand strength and notable history of Snap-on increases my passion for the role I play to ensure that we uphold and maintain the value of our company and its continued contribution to our society.

Not surprisingly, many families have more than one member on the Snap-on team. It certainly surprised me when my firstborn decided he wanted his first job out of welding school to be with Snap-on, and I couldn’t have been happier when he set out to achieve that goal for himself. Now he’s supporting himself, starting his career in Louisville, KY, and helping build the same equipment I support with marketing content.

Quality Control Supervisor

I emigrated from Argentina in the 90s during my country’s economic crisis. Like many others, I initially went through an employment agency as a temp before being hired full time by Snap-on. I earned my diploma in electronics through the local high school while simultaneously working at Snap-on – even being promoted to Assembly Line Supervisor! Today, I still have a longstanding desire to better myself, and am studying as a graduate in engineering.

When a team member with more than 42 years of experience decided to retire, I knew he would leave big shoes to fill, but I took his place anyway. He was considered to be a pillar of the shop floor, so I work hard every day to live up to his legacy, and to set an example for my 11-year-old son.

After 18 years of employment, as of September 2022, I am still advancing my career with Snap-on, presently as Health & Safety Coordinator, fulfilling the dream I’ve had of working in this area. I am hopeful this new move will have a positive impact on everyone's safety in the workplace.
